As well the second show’s been shot, and we’re still logging tape right now. It was an intense tournament that went a record 8 hours until about 3 in the morning!
And we’re just starting preproduction and casting for a new show! The Singles cooking show! So keep your eyes peeled for that!

The tournament is tuning out to be a race to the finish. Anybody can still place first at this point, so it’s going to be a very interesting race.

As well I’m going into preproduction for another show to follow a similar format as the poker show. It’s working title is The Bachelor Cooking Show. We’re going to have a mini episode available on the website, and the full version available to purchase online. Complete with recipes and lots of other fun goodies!

First Poker Shoot!

Let me tell you it was a blast! Not only did I finish in 3rd place in the tourney! But I have a tonne of great footage!
Just working on digitizing it, then going to edit up a trailer and a mini episode for the web, and a bigger version of it for DVD. All of this is on top of the documentary we’re going to put together at the end of it all.
Expect a new video blog entry very soon as well! We’re very excited with the product so far, and we’re looking forward to sharing it!
On top of that, I’m also working on a concept for another documentary looking at the homeless people in Portland. There’s a tonne of people out there on the streets, and I’ve actually met a bunch of them, (I like to hang out and read in downtown Portland), and they are all cool people with very human and interesting stories. And that will be the focus of the doc.
So stay tuned, we’re going to have some great content coming up very shortly!
New Gear!

It’s the Canon XH A1… A real sweet cool camera.
It shoots high deff, and has XLR inputs for professional audio. I’ve been experimenting with the camera, and both the images and the audio are top notch!
So with that final aquisition, we are pretty well ready to start producing some real cool content! The poker shoot starts at the end of this month, so look back for some clips of that.
As well, we’re going to be holding our production meeting to think up what kind of shorts and what not we’re going to be working on!
Things are going to start happening pretty quickly here, so stay tuned!
